That's a question for those who use themes provided by others and found on Drupal.org but want to add a region somewhere in the theme, most usual place would be above the content, because the CONTENT region which already exists in most themes is indeed after the content, so when you put a block in the CONTENT region it ends up after everything, one node, the tags, the comments, etc.
So what if you want to add a region to a Drupal theme?

Drupal won both the Best PHP Open Source CMS category and the Overall 2008 Open Source CMS Award from the Packt Open Source Content Management System Award! Check the news here : www.packtpub.com/award This is great news because my blog and lots of my websites are made with Drupal and I'm everyday happier not to have chosen Joomla when I was still evaluating both and hesitating. |

Several celebrities including Jennifer Aniston and Leonardo Dicaprio made a video about not going to vote, and then going to vote and then that you have to go to vote, well fuck them, don't let them tell you what you should think. If you think obama or mccain are two motherfuckers who believe in an imaginary friend called Jesus and that both don't deserve even a second of your precious time, then fuck it, one or the other is going to be elected ANYWAY.. So, since their message was so dumb, I did them a favor and made them promote something more interesting than the next fucking president of the US, that is my wonderful blog: |

Today I received an email sent via the whois information email and one via the contact form on this site. The message came from Aimee Gessner, a legal counsel at the BMW group. It is about Trademark Infringement, because I used their logo where I only changed the colors, using the colors from Google's logo : |

Download Google ChromeI've just downloaded and installed Google Chrome beta which is the first web browser from Google. It's an open source browser just like Mozilla Firefox, but the difference is that each tab is a separate application, which means there will be no more browser freezing because of one bug in one of the opened tabs, with Google Chrome, only the tab in which the buggy page is loaded will be frozen, the rest of the tabs will still be active and running, good. You can download Google Chrome here: http://www.google.com/chrome Here's the cartoon: http://www.google.com/googlebooks/chrome/ Here's the video which is the same as the cartoon, more or less: |

I've just finished creating a page for the date of the Ramadan 2008 in french, because last year I created one and it had a huge success, so I'd like to repeat it this year if I can... or if Google God willing... :-) But I thought also, why not try it in english? It will be more difficult since there are so many competitors, if I can call them that, but why not try it... In 2008 Ramadan begins almost 2 weeks earlier, and it's just in a month or so.. better hurry up ! :-) |

I've found a few lists of sites for finding niche ideas, I filtered out some of them and compiled the result here, so that I can easily find them again, it's better than a bookmark :-) Google Insights for Search http://google.com/insights/search/ SEOmoz - Popular Searches http://www.seomoz.org/popular-searches Yahoo! I'm only interested in the Best Project category of the SourceForge 2008 Community Choice Awards, as you can see we can find again my beloved Drupal in this list, that's good, so I voted for Drupal in several categories. You can do so too at https://sourceforge.net/community/cca08-vote |
